Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional Therapy is considered one of the most useful rehabilitation tools of speech therapy, since it allows correcting problems that affect breathing, chewing, articulation and swallowing.

This therapy works three areas: oral, related to the mouth and phonatory. Its basic functions range from breathing, chewing, speaking, sucking, swallowing… to other secondary ones such as yawning, spitting, crying, blowing, vomiting… for this reason it is a speech therapy rehabilitation tool to work with various problems.

In Kinderapia we have a Myofunctional Therapy group for people referred by the dentist and the ENT.

This is a program of 10 sessions of 30 minutes per session in a group consisting of a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4.
