Kinderapia Workshops

Social skills are both verbal and nonverbal behaviors that people use to interact with others in an affective and healthy ways.

They are communication tools, which are related to self-esteem and personal identity.

Working with small groups of equals helps to learn and reinforce communication tools, as well as problem solving and self-esteem.

At Kinderapia, we offer a social skills program that is directed and organized for three groups differentiated by age groups:

GROUP 1: From 5 to 8 years old
GROUP 2: From 9 to 12 years old
GROUP 3: From 13 to 16 years old
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
  • Acquire tools to improve the relationship with peers
  • Promote positive interpersonal relationships
  • Promote adequate identification and emotional management
  • Identify own problems and difficulties
  • Identify problems and difficulties with others
  • Manage conflicts
  • Promote and improve assertive behavior
  • Develop empathy
  • Improve self-regulation and frustration tolerance
  • Increase self-esteem

DURATION: 15 sessions of 55 minutes, 1 session per week (4 months approx.)
