Fibromyalgia is a neuromuscular pathology, of unknown origin so far, which manifests itself with widespread chronic pain, and usually cognitive problems appear such as difficulties in concentrating, remembering or paying attention, muscle stiffness, sleeping disorders, stress, anxiety or depression.
At the moment, it is being worked on in a multidisciplinary way, from what is called a BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL approach to the disease, working from different fronts at the same time and in a coordinated way.

For this reason, it is important to perform individualized treatments adapted to each person and their symptoms. This is how we work in KINDERAPIA with people with Fibromyalgia, where we offer a combination therapy to help them coexist with pain and fatigue, which consists of physiotherapy in the Snoezelen room and individual and group psychological therapy.

Snoezelen room physiotherapy

Snoezelen room physiotherapy to maintain the functionality of the body and to minimize pain. It is a multisensory stimulation room where all the senses are stimulated in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, creating feelings of well-being, improving cognitive functions such as attention and concentration, but above all, reducing tensions and reducing pain.
